The visit matters more than modules.
We design the whole course of a visit, not a growing list of system features.

For years we visited spas, saunas, thermal baths and fitness clubs. We used them like any other guest.
In our day-to-day work, we helped companies improve the way they operate.
Over time, we began to see these places from two perspectives – the guest's and the business owner's.
Every venue works differently. It is shaped by its people, its daily habits and its own way of doing things. Yet in many places we saw similar situations. They did not come from a lack of commitment or skill. They
repeated regardless of location or team. In time, we started asking ourselves
the same questions.
Why does organizing the day take up so much time that should go to guests?
Why does information about a visit so often have to be passed from one employee to another, instead of being available
where it is needed?
We realized this was not about isolated situations or how any particular venue operates. Different venues faced similar challenges, even though they looked completely different. One thing connected them – the day was full of small tasks
that pulled attention away from what matters most.
There was no lack of commitment. No lack of good ideas.
What was often missing was simply a shared picture of what happens to a visit from the moment of arrival to departure.
That was when we understood that the answer is not in more procedures or another set of tools.
The whole visit needs to be seen as one coherent whole.
That's us – Karolina and Aleksander Melech. We build Ontero, talk to businesses, visit venues and learn how they work day to day. We turn what we learn into new parts of the system. We love sauna culture and active recreation – we regularly visit, as guests, the kinds of venues we build Ontero for.

We design the whole course of a visit, not a growing list of system features.
A team should not have to pass the same arrangements between themselves.
A good tool brings order to daily work instead of adding more duties.
The best solutions support the team, rather than requiring the team to adapt to them.
These are not marketing slogans. They are the principles we follow when making decisions and developing the product.
First, we try to understand what a day at the venue looks like. Only then do we design solutions that fit naturally into its rhythm.
Reception, the manager and other staff should work from the same picture of the day. This means fewer things need extra explanation or handing over between departments.
We don't design features in advance. New solutions come from conversations, observations and the experience of people who use Ontero every day.
Every new element should make daily work easier, not more complex. If something can be done more simply, we choose the simpler solution.
We build Ontero for places where every visit requires good organization and smooth teamwork. Where guests expect seamless service, and owners want a clear picture of what happens each day.
We are starting with spas, saunas, thermal baths and fitness clubs. But we are designing a solution that will work just as well anywhere that daily operations revolve around welcoming guests and running visits smoothly.
Ontero grows together with the venues that use it. Every conversation, observation and newly released feature helps us better understand the daily reality of teams who work with guests. We don't want to build a product that stops keeping up with changing needs after a few years. Our goal is to develop Ontero so that it remains practical support at every stage of a venue's growth.
The best solutions are not built in a day. They come from consistently listening to the people who use them every day.
